The Whole Interior, From One Mill

Most suppliers sell one category. One Direct Mill manufactures seven — so cabinetry, countertops, closets, doors, flooring, vanities and windows arrive on one purchase order, one specification and one delivery schedule.

Buying finishes category by category means seven quotes, seven lead times and seven chances for something to slip. Each one carries its own distributor markup, and the slowest of them sets your install date.

Sourcing the package from a single manufacturer collapses that. One specification covers the project, one production schedule governs it, and one delivery lands in the order your trades actually need. On repeat plans the second house is quicker to specify than the first, because the package already exists.

How It Works

Design to delivery

01

Design

Plans, elevations or a measured list — whatever you have. We work from drawings or from the space.

02

Measure

Field dimensions confirmed before anything is cut, so nothing arrives that does not fit.

03

Manufacture

Built at the mill to your specification — not pulled from stock and modified.

04

Quality Check

Checked against the specification before it leaves, because a defect found on site costs a week.

05

Ship

Consolidated and released on your schedule, by phase where the project calls for it.

06

Deliver

Delivered to the project in the sequence your trades need it.

Package Questions

What is a whole-home finish package?+

Every interior finish product for a home, quoted and manufactured together: kitchen cabinetry, countertops, closets, interior doors, porcelain flooring, bathroom vanities and aluminum windows. One specification, one purchase order, one delivery schedule instead of seven separate vendors.

Is a package actually cheaper than buying each category separately?+

Usually, for two reasons. You are buying direct from the manufacturer rather than through a distributor on every line, and volume across seven categories prices better than seven small orders. The larger saving on a build is often the schedule, not the invoice — one delivery schedule instead of seven is a week or two of float you get back.

Do I have to take all seven categories?+

No. Most projects take four or five. The package pricing improves as categories are added, but there is no requirement to buy something you do not need.

Can you match a specification that is already approved?+

In most cases yes. Send the approved specification and we will quote a direct-from-mill equivalent, flagging clearly anywhere we would be substituting rather than matching, so nothing is a surprise at inspection.

How far ahead do I need to order?+

Most categories run three to eight weeks in production depending on how custom the work is. For a full package we build a single schedule backwards from your install dates and tell you the date by which selections have to be locked.

Who is this best suited to?+

New construction, whole-home renovation, multi-family and build-to-rent — anywhere the same specification repeats or where several categories are being bought at once. For a single bathroom, buying one category direct is usually the better fit.
