Factory Direct Finishes for Architects & Design Professionals
One Direct Mill partners with architects and design professionals so their clients buy interior finishes straight from the factory — the architect specifies the material, the client chooses within that specification, and the product ships to the client's house rather than through a showroom.
An architect's specification usually survives until it reaches a showroom, where the client is shown three alternatives at three price points and the drawing quietly changes. Buying factory direct removes that step: the specification you write is the specification that is quoted, and the client sees the same material you chose, at the price the mill charges rather than the price a distributor sets.
This is a partnership, not a supply contract. You keep the client relationship and the design authority. We handle the material selection conversation inside the boundaries you set, quote the package, and deliver to the residence on the schedule the project needs. You are not buying from us, and you are not reselling — your client buys direct, and the finish is what you drew.
Built around how architects actually buy
The specification holds
Material, finish and hardware are quoted as drawn. Where the client wants options, they choose within the range you approve, not against it.
Your client chooses the material
Species, colour, slab, profile and hardware are selected from real samples — with your specification as the frame rather than a starting point to negotiate away from.
Delivered to the residence
Product ships from the factory to the client's house on a scheduled date, not to a warehouse the client then has to chase.
No margin taken from your fee
We do not ask for a cut of your fee and we do not pay referral commissions — the saving stays with your client, which is the argument that makes the specification stick.
Source the whole interior from one mill
Most suppliers sell you one category. We manufacture seven — so a complete interior package comes off one purchase order, on one schedule, with one point of contact.

Architects — Common Questions
How does the partnership work in practice?+
You specify the finishes as you normally would and introduce us to the client. We quote the package against your specification, walk the client through material choices inside the range you approve, and deliver factory direct to the residence. You keep the client and the design authority throughout.
Do you pay a referral fee or take a share of my fee?+
Neither. We do not pay commissions and we do not take any part of your fee. The whole value of the arrangement is that the distributor markup is removed and the saving reaches your client, which is what keeps your specification intact.
Can my client choose their own materials?+
Yes, within the specification you set. Most architects define the material, finish and hardware family and leave colour, slab or species to the client. We run that conversation with real samples and confirm the final selection back to you before anything is ordered.
Which categories can you supply?+
Kitchen cabinetry, countertops, interior doors, porcelain flooring, custom closets, bathroom vanities and aluminium windows — all from the same manufacturer, so the whole interior package arrives on one schedule.
Do you handle installation?+
We supply the material factory direct and deliver to the residence. Installation stays with the client's contractor, which is usually where an architect wants it — the trades on the job already know the drawings.
